The Bazaruto Archipelago can be visited at any time of the year. Typically, clear skies, warm temperatures and sunny days create the perfect tropical weather all year round.

Between November and February, temperatures can be in the 30’s and the prevailing wind is from the North East which can provide relief from the heat especially in the evenings. If you don’t mind a few showers and humidity, you can visit during the rainy season, between December and February. If you’d prefer to stay dry and laze on the golden beaches, June and September are the best months. During March and April the winds are lighter and the temperatures are more moderate which makes this a good time to visit especially if you enjoy deep sea fishing.

Light cotton based clothing with a couple of warm items such as a jacket, especially during the winter months (June to August) are recommended.  A hat or cap is essential as well as sun block and sunglasses as the sun in Mozambique can be harsh. We provide Mosquito repellent in the rooms, but if you want extra protection or specific creams/sprays, it is a good idea to bring your own.
